   MOTHER AND SON!  

   At left is Keegan, our first grandchild, peeking out of our front door in 1973.  At right is her son, Rhys, posing at the very same door.  He's our first great-grandchild.  (He turned two in February, 2010.)   

   As most visitors to this page know sailing has been part of life in the Wrisley family for years.  We've been involved in the Columbia Sailing Club since 1958.  

At the 2009 club Christmas party  two members of the family won awards for a successful season on the racing circuit.  

Karen Dial won the 2009 Outstanding Sailor Award.  She may be the only grandmother in the club to be so honored.  Karen won  this award in 2007.

Karen's sister-in-law, Diana Wrisley, brought home the Outstanding Crew Award for '09.  She is relatively new to sailing but picked up the knack very fast.

 Below is a photo of our all-girl family team aboard a Lightning on Lake Ontario in August.  (l-r) Karen Dial, Diana Wrisley, and Kathy Gaddy.  They brought home the Lightning Women's National Championship banner from Sodus Bay Yacht Club, and aim to be active on the racing circuit again in 2010.
